Hi there, I'm Ramona, I'm very close to buying a 1978 Bedford CF motorhome and am just doing my research before committing for definite. Probably the wrong place to ask this but am I mad to be looking at this vehicle living in Ireland, particularly in light of parts etc should anything be needed?

Quite possibly! The thing about beddys is that you have to be at least a little eccentric to appreciate their little foibles.
By the way,do you wear a rambling rose in your hair? :D

Hello and welcome.
If you buy an motorhome, be prepared to work on it and to diy stuff, same counts for an old car.
An old motorhome is both of those things combined, but its fun.

Hi and welcome :)
Not sure about availability of parts in Ireland but we all seem to get what we want when needed for the time being at a price.

I'm committed now, so gotta be fine. :) I'm hoping it will give me a little while before needing anything. :|

I think I qualify :0, am getting very excited about it now. The guy who is selling it to me is lovely and I think he's getting separation anxiety now that I've said yes. Erm, no I haven't yet, do rambling roses still exist?
