Hi
I'm new to this forum. I have a question for whoever.
I see there is mention of CF 4x4 s
Are they factory or after market additions?

If so what brand of front drive/transfer box etc and also year?

Lastly I joined this at the start to get some info re diff s for 280 cf
I knew there were a lot of CFs out there all around the world. From a collector of the big Bedford's and CFs I'm amazed at how these vehicles sneered at by many back in the day have outlasted all the others.
And there's no sign of them fading out yet!!!!

4WD for CF2 models is a conversion by FF Developments (Ferguson Formula).

More information in the 1985 GM brochure.

Thanks for the info
Are there any bits out there to retrofit an existing CF?

Difficult: may need near enough a whole CF 4x4 as donor for front axle and suspension. High ride version has different underbody/chassis components.

I came across what may have been a DiY conversion years ago - it had a fabricated torsion bar rear anchor instead of the original one - but I've never had one in bits to work out what else may fit.
