Fuel tank sender unit removal

He y'all....
Is it possible to remove a CF2 fuel tank sender unit without having to drop the fuel tank??

Mine's sticking & needs removal & cleaning I reckon

On chassis models, yes but it can be a fiddle to refit the unit.

On van models it's more of a fiddle with the floor being so close to the top of the tank; can be easier in the long run to drop the tank enough for better access.
