well thats my van ready for another mot, brakes all sorted, the low vacuum was caused by the frontera vacuum pump, dispite rotating the vanes inside the pump I was still getting very little vacuum, so I've put the belt driven pump on to the frontera engine now got plenty of vacuum, in order to fit the vacuum pump I had to remove all the parts on the injector pump that were for the EGR valve, as I had removed the EGR valve when fitting the engine the parts on the injector pump were surplus to requirements anyway. the electrics faults were traced to bad contacts on the fuse box, on the brake faults I deglazed the drums checked the wheel cylinders for any that were sticking none found so I've refitted the drums & adjusted the brakes again everything feels ok but the mot will tell

You can't be so far off getting the van on the road now.
Best of luck with the MoT test. :)

Hello. Where have all the photos gone for this thread please? I saw them a few weeks ago & now I'm planning the same conversion(as my engine went pop) I think they'll be invaluable for reference. Please can you try to retrieve them Phil?
Thanks
