Starter motor is all good :) took it to our local auto electrics company that work on our coaches this afternoon and they bench tested it and she's all working fine :)

Thank the small gods for CFs being designed and produced at a time when just about every unit could be repaired for a fraction of the cost of replacing complete units. :)

Well she lives :) got her started on Saturday, after changing the spring and re fitting it still was clicking
So I cut all the ends off the wiring and refitted them and she turned over like nobodys business :)
Started her a few times since and let her run :)
Took the dash out now and have that in the kitchen to clear all the "extra" wiring out and repair any issues :)

Excellent: you must be well pleased. :)

Not much you can do about the noise from an old Perkins 4.108 engine bashing out all of its 55bhp other than wear ear plugs ...

Ok so my mate didn't turn up and I had to spray her myself I'm not sure how I feel as from a distance she looks great (and it only cost me £150 in paint) but she's to attend weddings and not sure if it's "good enough"
Although we did a boot sale ( to sell our unwanted items not ice cream although we were kept being asked for one :) and all the comments were great :)
I had a filming job last weds (why I had to try and spray her myself and they loved her too so much so they asked if I would be the "hearse" so got me an extra day yesterday at the church set:)
