Hi everyone I hope you all had a good Christmas I was reading an article about speed cameras which I was quite unaware of not only do they clock your speed when you pass them but they also when your approaching them on the other side of the road are recording 24/7 taking video of drivers with no seatbelt, and drivers on mobile phones and anything else your doing whilst driving. I always though that when you were approaching a camera that was on the opposite side of the road it wasn't doing anything but I've read different now.

Hi Richard they only flash when someone speeding in the right direction but from what I've read see link they are opperating 24/7 as video cameras so everyone will have to watch out if they're on mobile phones or drinking a drink big brother is watching.

re speed cameras not working. that figure was true in the old analogue days but with the digital age they are being updated and now most are working and are capable of video. the only way to beat the *&*^&%%&**'s is a bit of graffitti on the lens :D not that i would incite any one to do that [honest  ]

We shout start a completion to see if there is anyone with a CF fast enough to get caught by a speed camera.

You're correct about the seatbelts.

Just because the old CF's are sluggers doesn't mean you cannot get caught speeding they are nearly all capable of doing over 60 mph.
