Wishbone or Ball Joint for Bedford CF 350 Chassis Cab

Post by bruno.berger » Sat Nov 29, 2014 8:09 am
Hi there!

I really need to replace the ball joints of the front suspension of my Bedford CF 350 Chassis Cab from 1978... they open way too far for being safe. Both sides need the change.

But before I start taking things apart and looking for parts, I would just like to ask the specialists here on the forum:
- can I just replace the ball joints, or should I replace the whole wishbone?
- what is the exact type number (or equivalent types for cross reference) of the ball joints and wishbones?
- where can I find these parts?

I am living in Belgium, and the Bedford cf 350 is a rare species over here!
I could easily order from Germany or from England, anything that would take less than a week to get here is good for me. And preferably at a good price, of course :D

So: all your help is welcome here!
Thanks a lot!

Bruno

Upper and lower ball joints are replaceable.

Have a look here, here, here and here. :)

Germany seems to be a better source than GB, at least on prices.
