Gearbox oil level

I want to check the level and maybe top the gearbox up if needed. I have a cf freeway, I'm not sure what gearbox I have as the manual shows a few different ones. Gear lever forward for reverse if that helps to identify it. Where is the plug on gearbox and can I get to it by crawling under van or will I have to take it to a garage which I don't really want to do.

Thanks

Vauxhall transmission usually fitted to models with Vauxhall OHC ('slant') engine: level/filler plug is on the left side, next to the gear shift lever turret -

Plug may be 1/2-inch square head or 10mm internal hexagon type.

While underneath the van also liberally lubricate the gear shift lever fork (1), rocker (2), striking levers shaft (3) and rocker shaft (4) with water resistant grease. (Earlier version with clip on (aka 'fall off') turret cover shown; later units have a bolt-on cover.)
