Just took the van out tonight for it's first drive after new clutch and bodywork, not sure if this is the wright to post, seem to have vibration at 45mph getting louder up to 55mph. Any ideas? Prop seems OK put it back as it came off, gearbox went in the same, new spigot bearing fitted. Used a drive shaft boot on the rear of prop, don't see why that should make it vibrate? Any advice much appreciated.

Drive shaft boot fitted to the rear of a propellor shaft with CVJ will balloon outwards with running at about eight times its design speed so that and any imbalance due to clips used on the boot will be the most likely cause of the vibration. Eventually the boot may rupture, probably with alarming bangs and thuds as bits of rubber fly about.

Cut boot off,no vibration. Can't believe a little bit of rubber and cable ties would cause so much vibration!
Oh well back to the drawing board. Cheers Phil , good diagnostic as usual.
