Fuel Filler

Hi all

Moving on with the restoration of our Avantura

I have had to remove some of the cladding to the living space l(leaking and wood rotten) and in so doing I have damaged the fuel filler surround. well in fact it disintegrated in my hands. The back left attached to the inside and the round bit in my hand ????

Any ideas what I might use to replace it ??? Its 4" diameter and 1" deep with a 1" rim to screw it in place

The socket plug in the photo came from B&Q ... but it was several years ago and it looks like they don't stock this type any more.

You can have the one in the photo if you don't mind scraping off residue from spilt glue (Wellseal I think): send me a PM. :thumb:

Thanks to Phil we now have the were with all to fix our problem
This is what needs to be replaced

Now cleaned up!! Don't know what was in there but looked like thousand year old grease !!

Now with the hole for the fuel filler a light spray of matt black paint and the wood back piece to hold it
