Hi all, I'm have a few questions I would like answered if possible, firstly I have a type 9 ford box 4 speed with a Laycock overdrive attached can anyone tell me where or who could supply me with a conversion plate please, secondly the gearbox I have in my cf at the moment is a 4 speed Vauxhall one, is it possible to fit the Laycock overdrive from the Ford box to the Bedford /Vauxhall box, thanks
Martin.
Re: gearbox and overdrive.
The only adaptor plate that I've seen was CNC machined for the one job.
Unfortunately I didn't find out who made it.
Keep an eye on eBay: I've seen one at least in the past year or so.
To swap the overdrive you'll need a Vauxhall gearbox mainshaft for overdrive; 4-speed gearbox will need dismantling to fit the shaft.

Re: gearbox and overdrive.
Thanks Phil, in your opinion which gearbox would you go with, to be honest I'm unsure what to do, thanks again.

Re: gearbox and overdrive.
Hi Martin, I will probably be making a couple of CNC adapter plates for type9 in the following months.
I will let you know here when that happens.
