I'm from NZ and I have driven owned and operated most Bedford's from O models to sleeper cab TMs and AWD Bedford's 6x6s
I also own a 84 CF 280 and a 1984 CF 350 cab/chassis
Because of a motorcross accident I'm now in a wheelchair and spend most of my time fiddling with the cf s and the bigger Bedford's I have
I have recently fitted a 5.7 V8 Oldsmobile diesel and TH 400auto

I know this is meant to be only the intro page but I have some questions I would like to ask the subscribers to this forum
Because of the ratio (4.6) I know it will be way slow however in the vain hope it won't be I have re drilled the axle flanges to suit a set of 20"Jeep alloys I had laying around

I'm not too good on mathematics do havnt bothered to try to work it out.

I have the standard CF 280 Salisbury diff compliments of one of the forums obviously learned forum subscribers.
It is I believe a Holden diff????
I think I read right that quite a few had fitted standard Holden type diff s

I have a Holden Commodore VT Calais diff with 3.08 ratio
The axle splines are the same as the early Holden V8 Salisbury diff spline.
Does anyone know if the crown wheel and pinion from the VT would fit the Bedford diff housing?
Many thanks

Hi and welcome to the club. :thumb:

A new topic in Conversions and modifications probably will be best but there is very little information about Holden kit this side of the pond. If you can post some photos of the bits you have then it may help. :)
