Correct leads should be 7mm diameter Hypalon (high temperature) with carbon filament core.

The ballasted ignition system on a CF already provides increased voltage for starting.

Increasing the HT current at the plugs by using metal core cable can cause radio interference (possibly unlawful) as well as flash-over problems at the hot end.

If you have a fault in your wiring then it doesn't matter if you have ordinary or electronic ingnition you need to find the fault first.
