Can i ask you something... do you maybe know which engine would be good for swaping my old opel diesel 2,3l with something stronger... this one goes max 85 km/h... is this normal?

Thanks!

Hello David welcome

speed wasnt designed into the CF range it was for plodding around the normal roads , there are powerplants that will go in but it ties into the engine mountings on the front beam axle ,gearbox ,and rear axle differential ratio's

a bit out of my comfort zone but we've all considered how to get more 'va va voom' . theres no easy answer other than an overdrive gearbox and that probably depends on the engine ?

Some members have used the 2.3 Vauxhall diesel with the turbo used in 4x4s.
